Global Head of IT (Infrastructure and Services)

- You will lead a team of very experienced managers, split into an Infrastructure team, a Cloud Operations (and Security) team, and a Service Desk team. In total 45-50 employees, with the majority in Poland, and teams across Denmark, Ukraine, Colombia and China. You will report to the VP of Group IT and be a key part of the Group IT leadership team driving digital transformation across the company and across global functions.
- Our client is a growth company and hence all tools, processes and procedures need to scale and challenge the business requirements to support the transformation journey. They need a strategic leader with vast experience to lead the way of creating the direction and roadmap(s) transforming the company to the next level of performance.
- As part of the company and leadership team the hierarchical structure is flat, and it is important to keep the open and transparent communication across layers and boarders. This means that you are expected to set direction, challenge and spar with your employees, peers and leader(s) on relevant topics of strategic and business impact at a global level and cross functions including e. g. , R&D, Supply Chain and Production, Product Management and within IT.

- As this is a truly technical strategic role, we expect a solid IT technical background with the ability to challenge and comfortably present direction of initiatives to upper management. Here, the ability to steer the correct split between the on-prem datacenters, infrastructure and interconnected locations with cloud hosted services and cloud hosted infrastructure is key. What aaS should be target in a transition and what makes sense to keep as it is? Likewise, a firm understanding of operational security (ideal operational setup, tools, risk profile, contingency planning and so forth) is also required to align the strategic roadmap with the CISO. Finally, focus on consolidation of internal software offerings and moving towards enterprise level agreement will also lie within the responsibility of the role.

- - Change and transition as key for previous roles
- - Strong stakeholder management skills incl.communication skills to all levels of the organization
- - Technical background preferably from IT, with ability to challenge the status quo
- - Minimum 5 years of experience as a leader of leaders
