Global IT Portfolio Analyst

- Analyse the organisation's IT portfolio to assess performance, risks, and opportunities for optimisation.
- Develop and maintain portfolio management processes, including project selection criteria, prioritisation methods, and performance
- metrics.
- Collaborate with business units and IT teams to align portfolio initiatives with strategic objectives and business priorities.
- Monitor project progress and resource utilisation to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting portfolio performance, key insights, and recommendations.
- Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to evaluate the impact of changes in resource allocation or project priorities.
- Identify opportunities for consolidation, standardisation, and cost savings within the IT portfolio.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT portfolio management.
requirements-expected :
- Proven experience in IT portfolio management, project management, or related roles.
- Proficiency in portfolio management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Worked in a fast-paced Retail environment.
- Experience working with global teams.
- Proven experience using MS Excel and other tools to structure analysis and MS PowerPoint and others to present complex findings.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyse trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all
- levels.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of IT governance frameworks, such as COBIT or ITIL, and experience implementing governance processes preferred.
- Certification in project management (e. g. , PMP, PRINCE2) or portfolio management (e. g. , PfMP) is a plus.
- Highly computer literate.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer focused approach.
- Able to work both individually and as part of a team.
- Able to prioritise, organise and deliver a complex and changing workload under pressure, independently and to tight deadlines.
- Ability to guide and influence the development of junior colleagues through best practice in the discipline.
- Experience of change management practices.
- Experience of project management practices.
