- Market Securities & Services (MSS) is the “investment bank” for HSBC. The Global Foreign Exchange (GFX) business is a key component within HSBC’s MSS division. Our businesses generate millions of transactions across a range of financial markets. Our IT teams design and develop modern systems covering all aspects - trading in the markets, sales and customer tools, handling transactions and building financial and regulatory reporting.
- This role is working within the Market Securities & Services (MSS) division, where technology is central to all aspects of our business – for example electronic trading in the financial markets.
responsibilities :
- Monitoring production and keeping it stable.
- Foreign Exchange business requirements.
- Being accountable for the end-to-end delivery of the project.
- Implementing (Coding) of assigned modules/tasks and providing technical solutions/designs to the team.
- Liaising with product owners for clarity on stories, acceptance criteria and testing scope.
- Working closely with architecture team to deliver solutions that appropriately address business needs and timelines having futuristic thought process and embedded design thinking.
- Working with different stakeholders from different locations ensuring delivery is at focus.
- Providing guidance to the DevOps engineers on the engineering approaches to implement solution.
requirements-expected :
- Solid level of mathematical proficiency.
- Excellent C++ knowledge with standard library and boost.
- Knowledge of development under Windows using Visual Studio.
- Experience developing in a corporate environment with many processes across multiple servers.
- Demonstrable experience with Data representation and manipulation using XML, JSON, SQL.
- Good software design skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain good relationships.
- Ability to effectively work collaboratively and manage competing priorities.
