- HSBC Markets & Securities Services IT (MSS IT) department provides technology solutions to support its Markets and Securities Services business worldwide. You will be a part of team of approx. 6 developers responsible for an application supporting Product Control Team. The Product Control Development is a group within Global Finance infrastructure with representation in London, Paris, New York, Hong Kong and Dubai. We are a specialist team dedicated to independent review of Front Office and Risk models, support of Product Control in the design and implementation of software for calculation of fair value adjustment methodologies, development and support of quantitative tools and resources to enhance the control framework used by Product Control and Market Risk Management.
- Our business is global and we have development teams in Europe (UK, Krakow), APAC (China, HK) and in North America (Toronto). The global team is currently approx. 70 people and for Europe our development team are in Krakow.
responsibilities :
- Analyse & capture functional & non-functional requirements for long-term and short-term projects.
- Development of new features.
- Automating regression testing of new software.
- Frequent deployment of multiple software packages to production.
- Production availability – we collectively build and own the service.
- You will be involved in on production support (via a rota) and be proactively engaged in improvements on automation and DevOps.
- Peer review of colleague’s changes.
- Speak up and help shape how we do things better.
requirements-expected :
- Ideally experience of. Net with proven deliveries using. netcore microservices.
- SQL, Git and C++ knowledge.
- Professional experience in database and software development.
- Change-, Demand-, Incident and Problem-Management.
- Experience with agile methodology.
- Strong communication skills (you will be collaborating with various stakeholders on daily basis).
- English at least B2 (vast majority of your stakeholders and part of your team are non-Polish speakers).
